What I know about lions

Today I wrote what I knew about lions. Lions are my favorite animal so that is why I am doing this. Here is what I wrote.

Lions are special protected animals from hunters like us. Male lions LOOK special because they are the only cats with a BIG mane.Lions ROAR!  Can be heard, 45 football fields away,to tell other animals to stay away.At night male lions stay on guard to keep watch of their pride.
