In this scripture Luke 1 : 2- 20 Mary and Joseph go to Bethlehem because the child is in the line of David and try to find a house for them to stay.
Joseph went to the town of Nazareth to Galilee to Judea and then to the house of David because he belonged to the house and the line of David.
Joseph went there to register Mary, who was pledged to Mary Joseph and bearing a child. Then the time came for the baby to be born the son of the most high, who will take the place of David and reign over Jacob's descendants forever.
There were shepherds caring for their flocks at night when suddenly an angel appeared and the power of God shone upon them. The shepherds were Petrified. The angel said to the three shepherds” Do not be afraid, I will bring great news that will cause Joy to you and your people. The angel carried on” Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born. We know this because the angel said” This will be a sign for you, you will find a baby wrapped up in a manger.
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
